I love finding cool sites on the web that help in our family travels. Today I wanted to highlight Activity Village from the UK. This site prides itself on free activities for parents and teachers and has fabulous resources for families.
In my search for freebies that will help parents traveling with young kids, I found some great stuff! Check out these highlights:
1. Practice drawing! Print out a couple of these along with some blank paper, stick them in your child’s binder. Check out the Learn to Draw Animals page for these and more.
2. Paper Dolls. Cut out and keep in a plastic bag to pull out when needed! A few examples include regular dolls to play with…
as well as Princess Paper Dolls to color:
3. Lacing cards to print on cardstock
4. “Mouse” Dice game. Print, and make sure to have a pencil and dice. Great game for the plane.
5. “Teddy Bear” game. Print, have dice on hand. Kids roll the dice and match the correct bear to the dice.
6. Coloring Pages. The site has all varieties, but I particularly loved the Olympic ones!
Let me know if you use one of these….I love hearing stories of how things work out! Happy summer travels
